Extra Curricular and Co-curricular Activities for the year 2006-07
1. Fresher’s Contest on August 29, 2006 have been organized.
2. Blood Donation Motivation Camp have been organized by Blood Bank Society
on September 1, 2006.
3 .Eye Donation Awareness & Motivation Camp have been organized on September 4, 2006 by the Department of Opthalmology, P.G.I., Chandigarh.
4. Teacher’s Day was celebrated on September 5, 2006.
5. The Environment club of the Institute constructed a Verrmi Compost pit
in the Medicinal Plant Garden under the guidance of the Environment Society
of Chandigarh on September 7, 2006.
6. The Declamation Contest of the Students regarding oratorial Skills was held regarding crime and Fashion, Teacher-Taught Relationship, Role of Youth in society and Impact of Television on September 22, 2006.
7. AIDS Awareness Programme regarding AIDS Control have been organized
to educate the students on September 25, 2006.
8. The Department of Pharmacy have organized a presentation on Personal
Feminine Hygiene on September 28, 2006.
9. Matches and others Sports activities were started on 30.10.2006
10. Annual Sports Function was held on 20th and 21st of November 2006.
